South Holland patients told second Covid jab dates

More South Holland patients are now being told when they will receive the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
Allied Health South Lincolnshire last week confirmed that anyone who had their first Covid jab on January 16, 17, 19 or 20 at Springfields will be invited back on either this Friday or Saturday (April 9 and 10).
Those with a first appointment from January 22 or 23 will return on April 15 for their second dose.
Covid-19 vaccine.
Those are:
First vaccine Jan 31, second due April 21.
First dose February 1, second due April 22.
First jab February 4, second for April 27.
First dose February 10, second due May 4.

The lives of thousands of people will be saved thanks to the valiant efforts of doctors and nurses from surgeries across south Lincolnshire.
Clinical and clerical staff from 12 medical centres in the South Holland, Bourne and Market Deeping areas have worked together in the space of a few weeks to create a vaccionation centre at Springfields Exhibition and Event Centre, Spalding.
Within two days of the vaccination programme starting on January 16, they had ensured that more than 1,000 people over the age of 80 along with frontline health and social care staff had received the Pfizer BioNTech jab.

Residential care homes across South Holland are working tirelessly to keep COVID-19 at bay as public health bosses support 10 in the area hit by the virus.
And they have received a huge boost this week with the news that staff and residents at all 34 homes in the district could be inoculated by Sunday evening.
Suria Webb, manager at Fenchurch House Care Home in Spalding, says that itâs important that procedures are followed.
