Over a year after the coronavirus hit U.S. shores, wearing a face mask in public as Beyonce prominently did, in gravity-defying fashion, at Sunday s Grammy Awards will likely remain part of daily dressing routines for quite some time. In February, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended layering a cloth face covering over a medical mask, and stars promptly doubled up to further prevent the spread COVID-19.
