Industry experts say wellness programs can, and do, reduce workers compensation claims, with one study showing effective wellness programs lead to an average of a 30% decrease in workers compensation and disability management claims.

16-02-2021 @CoR-2020 On 4 February 2021, WHO/Europe and the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) renewed their partnership by signing a new memorandum of understanding, as well as an accompanying action plan, based on the European Programme of Work and the political priorities of the CoR in 2020–2025. Dr Hans Henri P. Kluge, WHO Regional Director for Europe and Mr Apostolos Tzitzikostas, CoR President, signed the agreement during the CoR Plenary session. This was an opportunity for Dr Kluge, to share information with members of the CoR about the COVID-19 vaccination campaign and the key role of local governments in curtailing the pandemic.
