ORANGE The mother of a 7-year-old insists Fisher Hill Elementary School is not complying with her son’s individualized education program (IEP), though Superintendent Elizabeth Teahan-Zielinski said this is untrue.
Lorena Rosenbaum moved with her family from Burlington to Orange in March and said the problem started immediately. She explained her son, Joel, suffered a stroke within his first three days of life and sustained long-term effects to his balance and coordination. Orange schools receive Athol Lions Club award

On Wednesday of last week, the teachers and staff of the Orange Elementary Schools were awarded a framed certificate recognizing them all as the recipient of January’s Athol Lion’s Club Community Service Award.
