Letter: Kuhn a skillful and articulate leader for Falmouth

It is my pleasure to support Amy Kuhn in her bid to serve a second term on the Town Council. Serving on Falmouth’s Town Council is a large responsibility and I cannot think of a more dedicated and thoughtful person to fill this role.
I have worked with Amy on conservation matters during her first term on the council. It is clear that Amy understands the importance of conservation for Falmouth’s future and the critical need to balance development with open space. She cares deeply about Falmouth and the impact her decisions will have on our community in the future.
Letter: Kuhn provides critical leadership
Share
Amy Kuhn has provided critical leadership on the Falmouth Town Council over the past three years and Falmouth is lucky that she is willing to continue to serve in that role for another term.
I’ve been constantly impressed by work Amy has led to enhance communications and public engagement between the town and residents, as well as standardizing a number of council and committee practices to improve transparency and predictability.
Good governance isn’t sexy, but it’s essential, as we’ve all seen over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. Amy brings first-hand knowledge of Falmouth’s schools, public service departments and conservation resources to the council, as well as a willingness to listen and learn. Please join me in voting for Amy Kuhn on June 8.
