TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) A Topeka man was arrested and jailed after a two-car crash that killed a 7-month-old boy and injured three others, police said.
Troy A. Vsetecka, 51, was arrested and booked into the Shawnee County Jail after the wreck on Tuesday. He faces possible charges of involuntary manslaughter, aggravated battery and several traffic violations, The Topeka Capital-Journal reported.
Investigators said Vsetecka was speeding and driving the wrong way on a Topeka street when he collided with another vehicle at an intersection.
The child was killed and three others in the second vehicle were hospitalized in critical but stable condition, police spokeswoman Gretchen Spiker said.
