Law enforcement in San Joaquin County have arrested a Lathrop man suspected for a string of armed robberies, including some in Turlock.
DeAndre Phillips, 27, was arrested on suspicion of nine armed robberies at stores in Stockton, Manteca, Lathrop, French Camp, Tracy, and Turlock between Nov. 22 to Dec. 26, according to Lathrop Police Services, a division of the San Joaquin County Sheriff s Office.
Phillips would allegedly enter the businesses and pull out a .357 Magnum revolver from a black duffel bag slung around his shoulder. Phillips is accused of holding the victims at gunpoint while demanding cash, alcohol and cigars.
