New Zealand’s global network for offshore Kiwi, Kea, has celebrated an impressive line-up of our global achievers at The Kea World Class Awards 2021, held at Shed 10, Auckland last night.
The Awards ceremony inducted six new Kea World Class New Zealanders and one Friend of New Zealand, attracting an impressive crowd of past and present alumni who gathered to acknowledge this year’s winners and to welcome Supreme Award winner, Peter Cooper.

The figures, published in the TaxPayers’ Alliance’s 14th Town Hall Rich List, analysed data from councils across the country. The council has defended the high salaries of the five employees, stating they ‘recruit hard-working, dedicated staff ‘ who are paid at a ‘competitive’ rate. Test Valley Borough Council’s chief executive, Roger Tetstall who has since been replaced by, Andrew Ferrier brought home the highest pay packet of £179,000. This was made up of a salary of £150,000, a pension of £21,000 and expenses of £8,000.

SIR – I had already heard that our surgery had been told to pause their vaccination operation before I read yesterday’s front page report of GPs being forced to slow down and having promised vaccine deliveries cancelled.
It is sad that politicians and bureaucrats descend by default to the lowest common denominator.
Our rulers are ready to inflict harm on Britain’s citizens and economy by lockdowns because we are on a “war footing”, so why delay vaccination campaigns that are going well?
