THE NHS is urging those who have not had their flu vaccination yet to get the jab as soon as possible . Tens of thousands of people in Sussex remain unprotected and are at risk of serious health complications if they catch the flu. The Brighton and Hove Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) said it is even more important for those who are eligible to get the jab this year, as those who are at high risk from Covid-19 are also most at risk from the flu. Fewer people than normal have had the vaccination so far this winter amid the pandemic, and pregnant women and those with long-term health conditions are advised to protect themselves.
