Staff Correspondent 16th January, 2021 10:09:37 Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi on Saturday suggested local apparel exporters to look for new export destinations to overcome the risks posed by the Covid-19 pandemic crisis. “Bangladesh has to look for new markets including in the neighbouring countries for its diversified products including RMG that will help the country to recover from the crisis,” the commerce minister said while taking part in a virtual dialogue on RMG sector. “The garment sector overcame the effects of the first wave of the COVID-19 to some extent but we’ve started to feel the impact following the 2nd wave,” he said further.
