Company opens its first Asian Data Centre in Johor Bahru, Malaysia
As part of Gibtelecom’s international expansion plans, the company is launching its first Asian Data Centre in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The facility offering hosting, managed solutions and a full range of cloud services is connected directly to the company’s core private network, linking European businesses with their Asian operations and vice versa.
Daniel Hook, Gibtelecom’s director enterprise, explains what this mean for Gibtelecom’s customers: “The online gaming landscape is forever changing, as the last 12 months has clearly shown us. This provides both challenges and opportunities for companies such as Gibtelecom and our customers alike. We have a substantial customer base spanning multiple industries that have operations in Asia and this addition to our existing network presence in the region gives our customers greater options to connect eastbound.
