Sally Zinsner scored two goals, and Allie Boyce, Molly Finlay, Ella O, Megan Meyers and Madison Rassas all had one goal apiece. The defense held Ireton scoreless over the final four minutes. Tue Apr 27 2021 | Laurel Pfahler | High School St. Paul’s (Md.) defeated former No. 1 McDonogh (Md.) 16-9 on Wednesday, resulting in another major climb for the Gators. Christina Gagnon scored five goals to go with three assists, Frannie Hahn and Kendall Steer had three goals apiece and Caitlin McElwee added two goals. Josie Hahn and Lauren Steer each had two assists. St. Paul’s jumped out to a 10-0 lead. Leah Warehime made four saves. It’s the first regular-season defeat of McDonogh by an IAAM team since 2008. The Gators then beat Bryn Mawr (Md.) 15-10 on Saturday. Gagnon and McElwee had three goals and one assist apiece, and Lauren Steer, Josie Hahn and Frannie Hahn all contributed two goals apiece, with Lauren Steer adding two assists. Warehime made eight saves.
