Share Updated: 6:41 PM CDT Jul 25, 2021 WVTM 13 Digital No injuries were reported after a fire destroyed an apartment building in Oxford.Chief Gary Sparks of the Oxford Fire Department says fire crews were dispatched to 1030 Corbin Street near McCullars Lane about 8:45 p.m. Saturday.Firefighters found flames coming from the middle of an apartment building.The fire quickly spread to the entire structure.Sparks said 14 people were inside nine apartments at the time of the fire. Everyone escaped unharmed. A tenth apartment was unoccupied.Sparks told WVTM 13 News that the building appears to be a total loss.There s no indication of any suspicious activity connected to this fire, Sparks said.An investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
