It must have been 1987 when I first saw one. A boy in my class was picked up from school in a red BMW M3 on dealer delivery plates. To make matters worse, that boy – let’s call him Mark – had a habit of stealing my packed lunch. Life wasn’t fair.
Thirteen years later, I had my revenge. Not by half-inching Mark’s Dairylea sandwiches, but by buying my own M3: also a first-generation E30, also in Brilliant Red. With its box-flared wheelarches and high-revving engine, it was a pukka homologation special – and infinitely cooler than the hot hatches my mates drove.

The global rollout of the new BMW M3 and M4 continue and today, we’re stopping in Poland. The local BMW branch hosted a press event where the guest of honors were a Toronto Red M4 G82 and a Tanzanite Blue M3 G80. These are arguably some of the best paintworks in the new color palette which is already quite extensive and intriguing.
From non-metallic to metallic and matte options, there is likely a color for every M owner out there. Non-metallic: Alpine White, Sao Paulo Yellow (new addition). Metallic: Isle of Man Green (new), Toronto Red (new), Sapphire Black, Skyscraper Grey, Portimao Blue, Brooklyn Grey.

BimmerToday brings us some new photos of the 2021 BMW M3 G80. Only this time around, the new sports sedan is featured in the Frozen Orange II metallic color from BMW Individual. Speaking of the the BMW Individual program, there is a wide range of paintworks available for the G80 M3 and G82 M4.
Some of those colors are the Frozen White, Frozen Brilliant White, Frozen Black, Frozen Dark Grey, Frozen Orange, Frozen Portimao, Dravit Grey, Oxide Grey, Tanzanite Blue II, and much more.
