Ogunquit Playhouse is bringing live theater outdoors this summer. Rising from the grounds of The Playhouse campus’s south lawn is The Leary Pavilion, a 25,700 square foot open-air venue nearly three times the size of their indoor theater designed to give audiences the best theatrical experience in the safest possible environment.

This year is Kenney s 16th season as executive artistic director of the Ogunquit Playhouse in the popular seaside town of Ogunquit, Maine. He s also opened seasons as the artistic director of the former Foothills Theatre in Worcester from 2001-05.
But speaking on the phone the week before the Ogunquit Playhouse was about to open its first mainstage show of 2021, Monty Python s Spamalot (Jun 16 to July 10), the feeling and the look were distinctly different this time around.
