2020: A Year to Remember

But what a year with the well-chronicled coronavirus pandemic that killed more than 300,000; racial unrest that created division in across many communities and a presidential election that was over until it wasn’t. And there was plenty of more to a year that goes down as one of the most memorable in recent history. Here’s some of what happened.         

Missing Walkertown man last seen driving toward Hardee s

Forsyth County Sheriff s Deputies need help finding 85-year-old Merlin Charles Kreiser, who is believed to be suffering from dementia.  A silver alert was issued for Kreiser early Friday morning. Investigators say Kreiser was last seen driving away from his home on Lamont Court in Walkertown, heading toward Hardee s. He was wearing a black Carhart jacket, navy blue long sleeve shirt, and tan pants.
