RAWALPINDI/ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan made a farewell call on Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the GHQ Rawalpindi on Tuesday. The air chief marshal also paid a farewell call on ISI DG Lt Gen Faiz Hameed on Tuesday.
The COAS thanked the CAS for his services to the nation during an illustrious career. General Bajwa also appreciated the dynamic leadership and professionalism of Mujahid Anwar Khan displayed during operation âSwift Retortâ and critical support rendered in fight against terrorism. Because of his immense efforts and quality leadership, Pakistan Air Force today is a force second to none, the COAS said. Earlier, on arrival at the GHQ, the CAS was presented a guard of honour at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.

The government of Pakistan on Wednesday appointed Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu as the new Chief of the Air Staff of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) as Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan is set to retire on Thursday.
The incoming air chief hails from Sadh village in Punjab’s Gujrat district and is presently serving as Deputy Chief of Air Staff Admin at the Air Headquarters in Islamabad.

President confers Nishan-e-Imtiaz on Air Chief
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - President Dr Arif Alvi conferred Nishan-e-Imtiaz (civil) on Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan on Wednesday.
The President decorated the outgoing Air Chief with the prestigious award in recognition of his outstanding service for the country.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday approved Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar s appointment as the Chief of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
The incumbent Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan will hand over the command of PAF to his successor at the change of command ceremony to be held at the Air Headquarters on March 19, The News
According to the publication, the Pakistan Day Parade will see the new Chief of Air Staff (CAS) leading the flypast on March 23 as the incumbent will retire on March 18 on completion of his three-year tenure.
