Martyn Logan, 31, who gave an address in Selkirk, is accused of assaulting a 20-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man to their severe injury, permanent disfigurement and danger of life in the Ashkirk area in March last year. Logan also faces charges of drug dealing, possession of a Class A drug, possession of a bladed article in a public place, theft of a motor car and driving with no insurance.

AN appeal has been launched after a 14-foot trailer was stolen in the Borders. Officers say the Ifor Williams double-sided trailer was taken from the Shielswood area of Ashkirk between 5pm on Friday, January 22 and 10am on Saturday, January 23.
