Ptak: Our guest this week is Eduardo Repetto. Eduardo is chief investment officer of Avantis Investors, where he is responsible for overseeing the research, design, and implementation of the firm s investment strategies. Prior to forming of Avantis in 2019, Eduardo was co-CEO, co-CIO, and a director at Dimensional Fund Advisors. Eduardo earned a Ph.D. in aeronautics from the California Institute of Technology, and an MSc degree in engineering from Brown University.
Vise, a NYC-based AI-powered investment management platform built for advisors, raised $65m in Series C funding.
The round, which brought total capital raised since founding to over $125m, was led by Ribbit Capital, with participation from existing investors Sequoia Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and rollout of new product features.
Founded by Samir Vasavada and Runik Mehrotra in 2016, Vise is an AI-powered investment management platform built for advisors. The platform gives financial advisors the tools and technology to create personalized portfolios, fully automating the investment management process, and providing deep insights on each investment decision.
