ASHLAND Dirt Dawg Excavating officially broke ground Friday morning for its new headquarters.
The company has plans to develop future leasable facilities on the property for other small businesses who need a helping hand to grow.
Located at 1681 Orange Street, near the junction of State Route 58 and the U.S. 250 bypass, Dirt Dawg Excavating unveiled its ambitions during the groundbreaking ceremony. Kevin Kaeser, founder and president of the company, spoke to the crowd about what he envisions for the considerable estate.
âWe are looking to put in a street, and we are looking to build some 2,400 to 4,000 square-foot shop buildings with some offices in them something that we can help the plumbers, the electricians, the smaller excavators help give them a home when they donât have the means to purchase a facility or just get started, Kaeser said. We are looking to build a lot of those buildings; weâll own them; weâll lease them out to those people.Â

We learned in December 2019 that the
Hypnosis Mic multimedia project had opted to add an anime component to its ranks after working through manga, stage plays and more with
Hypnonsis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima. The project was planned for a summer 2020 debut in July but the official site delayed the show due to the COVID-19 pandemic and ended up with an October 2nd, 2020 debut date.
With Funimation simulcasting the series, the Japanese site has now updated with a preview of the thirteenth episode that’s due out on December 25th, 2020. Check it out below!

Live Music: Catching Up with Myron Hyman

“I love to play both places big and small,” he said. “Every gig is a new adventure.”
At 63, he is unassuming and easily fits in the WNC culture. You might not ever guess he has played with some big name musicians and even had his original music performed for the likes of actress Calista Flockhart at the 100th episode party of the comedy series Ally McBeal (1997-2002).
“That was such a fun show to work on,” Hyman said. “I was in charge of the lighting. On that show every week there was the bar scene, and we got some great acts in there. One day a musician was late and one of the producers, Steve Robin, asked me to sit in on the drums. Jane Krakowski was singing. I am not a drummer but could hold a beat. Right before we were going to film, the drummer showed up, (and) that was the end of my drumming career.
