Today, the original GBC Shantae game gets a long-awaited re-release on the Switch. I just posted my review of the plucky heroine s maiden adventure, and I was lucky enough to get an opportunity to bother Matt Bozon, the Shantae series director and WayForward s creative director, with some questions about that landmark game.
