(Nasdaq: FSLR) has appointed Anita Marangoly George, a senior executive with almost four decades of diverse global experience in institutional finance and sustainable infrastructure investing, to its board of directors, effective July 15, 2021. Ms. George will serve on First Solar’s Nominating and Governance, and Technology Committees.

(Agence Ecofin) – Le solaire figure parmi les options faites par la Côte d’Ivoire dans le cadre du renforcement de ses capacités et de la diversification de son mix énergétique. Elle envisage à cet effet, la construction de deux nouvelles centrales solaires.
Le gouvernement ivoirien a lancé une demande de pré qualification pour la conception, le financement, la construction et l’exploitation de deux centrales solaires photovoltaïques. Ces nouvelles infrastructures seront connectées au réseau national.
Les deux centrales solaires photovoltaïques seront situées à Laboa et Touba, dans la région du Bafing, à l’ouest du pays. Elles seront installées sur la base d’une production indépendante d’électricité (IPP) avec une capacité totale installée d’au moins 60 MW.
