Tom Kerridge’s 2020 Drive & Dine Theatre experience return this summer as The Alfresco Theatre Drive-In. The event, which sees Alfresco Theatre meet the ultimate travelling restaurant, The Alfresco Diner, will tour the UK, coming to Hertfordshire Showground, Redbourne, from June 2-6. Five top chefs - Tom Kerridge, Rick Stein, Atul Kochhar, Paul Ainsworth and Jason Atherton - will create one-off dishes against a background of live entertainment provided by guest comedians and bands plus popular films. Atul Kochhar is back with a bang on home turf. The London-based, twice-Michelin-starred culinary innovator has been serving gourmet fare over a decade at his prized cluster of tony eateries. Now he has Saga, set up in partnership with Delhi restaurateur Vishal Anand, to woo gourmets and gourmands alike.
Over the years, Kochhar has come to be known as one of the high priests of progressive, edgy Indian cuisine with a signature touch. From quaintly poised puri aloo tacos to his singular dalim shakarkandhi (sweet potato with ruby pomegranate and yoghurt swirls), and a delicately spiced curry leaf martini (a perennial favourite on the Benaras menu) he is the story teller of food. The exclusive menu will feature Tom Kerridge’s Smoked Applewood Cheeseburger with dill pickles and red cabbage slaw, as well as Tom’s delicious Vegan Chipotle Chilli with steamed rice, guacamole, sour ‘cream’ and lime.

Paul Ainsworth brings his melt-in-your-mouth Slow Roast Pork with crackling, triple mustard celeriac remoulade and sage and onion stuffing to the party.
