?The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) completed the main works of Al Khor Health Center, executed by the Building Projects Department to serve about 600 visitors per day, as part of the state's plan for developing health services.

Ashghal to complete three more health centers this year  23 Jan 2021 - 8:45 Irfan Bukhari | The Peninsula The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will deliver three more health centers in Ain Khalid, Al Sadd and Al Khor to the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) this year. Ashghal is implementing new health centers that will provide general and special clinics, along with dentistry, physiotherapy and family. The centers are located in different areas as per the services to present and number of residents related, according to Ashghal’s website. It says that these centers are expected to be completed in Q4 of 2021. Recently, ‘Ashghal’ completed major works of South Al Wakra Health Center, implemented by the Building Projects Department, to serve about 360 visitors per day.

Ashghal finishes South Al Wakra Health Center main works  18 Jan 2021 - 12:54 The Peninsula Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced the completion of major works of South Al Wakra Health Center, which will serve about 360 visitors per day. Eng Hind Al Mahmied, Head of Health Projects Section at Building Projects Department, confirmed that major works in the South Al Wakra Health Center project are over and the project is being prepared for handover to the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH). Eng Al Mahmied also noted that 3 more health centers in the pipeline will be delivered in 2021 including Al Khor Health Center, Ain Khalid Health Center, Al Sadd Health Centre and the National Health Laboratory.

People without health card urged to register with PHCC  10 Jan 2021 - 8:18 By Fazeena Saleem | The Peninsula Doha: People without health cards have been suggested to register with the designated health centers in order to obtain COVID-19 vaccine.  Head of Vaccination at the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Dr. Soha Al Bayat, has said that the COVID-19 vaccine will be eventually provided to all citizens and residents in Qatar and requested those without health cards to obtain one.  “The COVID-19 vaccine will be given to everyone. Even if you have a private medical insurance and don’t have a health card yet, we suggest going to the designated health centre and registering and obtaining one,” said Dr. Al Bayat in reply to a question asked during a recent session hosted by the Ministry of Public Health on Instagram.
