Based in Western Massachusetts, Corey Laitman and Anand Nayak are kicking off a string of live shows ahead of the release of their debut album “Thou/Them.”
FALL RIVER He might not be able to tell you exactly how to get to “Sesame Street,” but he does have stories about how his father wrote the catchy theme and other songs for TV s longest running children’s series.
“That song is the most sacred thing in the world to my family,” said Nick Raposo, the son of late musician Joe Raposo of Fall River.
“When that theme comes on, when that march starts, that bump, bump, bump bump, every kid in America knows that that is a safe place to learn,” said Raposo.
On April 23, the documentary “Street Gang: How We Got to Sesame Street,” premieres in theaters, and On Demand on May 7. Raposo says he was interviewed.

When the Grammy nominees were announced back in November, some news outlets noted the inclusion of more women and Black artists. Beyoncé, propelled by her “Lion King”-inspired visual album “Black Is King,” leads this year’s nominations with a total of nine.
