MOORHEAD The Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County opened the BIG Art Exhibition this week in the fourth floor gallery at the Hjemkomst Center, 202 First Ave. N.
The annual Fargo Moorhead Visual Artists show was moved online entirely last spring due to the coronavirus pandemic. In 2021, viewers can check out the art in person at the Hjemkomst Center, on display now through May 16, or online as a digital gallery that will go live on April 1.

Bravo to the Anne Carlsen Center, which was among the top fundraisers in its category for Giving Hearts Day in 2021, according to Dakota Medical Foundation, which hosts the events with the Impact Foundation and the Alex Stern Family Foundation. ACC was in the large-budget category and ranked in the top five of fundraisers in that category. The amount raised by entities has not been announced.

DEVILS LAKE - The record-breaking Giving Hearts Day event brought a sum of $22,010,395 to North Dakota and northwest Minnesota charities. The following are the top five charity fundraising winners for small-, medium-, and large-budget categories.

4. Perry Center Maternity Home
5. Landon’s Light Foundation
The annual event saw 42,272 total donors coming together to help the nearly 500 charity participants. There were over seven thousand more donors than in 2020, and this year’s total donations exceeded last year’s by $2.8 million.
