Absecon Man Arrested With Gun, Drugs in Atlantic City
Cops in Atlantic City say a man from Absecon was arrested Tuesday night following a traffic stop. The Atlantic City Police Department says one of their officers conducted a motor vehicle stop at Virginia and Atlantic Avenues just before 10:00 Tuesday night. During the stop, 24-year-old Elliot Handy of Absecon was arrested. Police say Handy was in possession, of a backpack that contained a loaded handgun that included a large capacity magazine and a loaded drum magazine, and 83 grams of marijuana.
The driver of the vehicle, Alisia Harrigan, was released with several motor vehicle summons.
