PETALING JAYA, May 12 ― A jobless man was today brought to the Magistrate’s Court here on charges of murdering and sodomising a nine-month-old baby boy, his wife was babysitting at an apartment here three weeks ago.
Mohamed Badruldin Mohamed, 36, nodded his head for the murder charge while for the charge on sodomising the baby, he pleaded not guilty.
PETALING JAYA (Bernama): A jobless man was brought to the Magistrate’s Court here Wednesday (May 12) on charges of murdering and sodomising a nine-month-old baby boy, while his wife was babysitting at an apartment here three weeks ago.
Mohamed Badruldin Mohamed, 36, nodded his head when the murder charge was read out while for the charge on sodomising the baby, he pleaded not guilty.
Both charges were read before Magistrate Muhammad Iskandar Zainol.
No plea was recorded from the accused for murder as the murder case was under the purview of the High Court.
The case grabbed public attention after police in a press conference yesterday said among others the baby was believed to have been murdered and sodomised by the husband of the babysitter in the bedroom of a house here when his wife was sweeping outside the residence.

Mohamed Badruldin Mohamed, 36, nodded when the charges were read out to him at the Magistrate’s Court, while denying to have sodomised the child.
The jobless man allegedly committed the offences at a house in Projek Perumahan Rakyat Lembah Subang, here between 8am and 3.30pm on April 27.
Both charges were read before Magistrate Muhammad Iskandar Zainol.

PETALING JAYA: The two men who appeared in a viral video clip of an incident where a car crashing into several vehicles in Sierramas, Sungai Buloh last week, were Friday charged at two separate courts here on various offences.
Mustaza Mustaffa, 35, and Khairul Fazily Fadzil, 40, however, pleaded not guilty after the charges against them were read before Judge Norshila Kamaruddin and Magistrate Nurshahira Abd Salim.
At the Sessions Court, Mustaza was charged with attempting to murder two policemen – Corporals M. Amareisan and Mohd Edham Zakaria, by speedily reversing a car and trying to run over the two cops at a traffic light junction, Jalan Kuala Selangor Kepong-bound, Damansara here, at 12.30pm on Feb 26.
