(WDAM) - Hattiesburg’s half marathon in 2021 will return to being an in-person event, although organizers will still be adhering to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for the coronavirus. The 10th annual event, which will take place on April 10, will feature hundreds of runners, but start times will be staggered. Race volunteers will also wear masks and practice social distancing. Thirteen Pine Belt nonprofit organizations will benefit from race proceeds.
