It only seemed fitting a game to decide the 4A/3A Greater St. Helens League boys basketball district championship and the final game of a COVID-19-condensed season came down to the final possession.
A final possession in a game that had every bit of championship-like feel to it for Union and Skyview’s boys basketball teams on Friday night.

BATTLE GROUND The Union boys basketball team was looking forward to facing off with Battle Ground’s Gonzaga-bound star Kaden Perry.
But that didn’t happen Tuesday, and by the looks of it, it won’t happen at all this season.
Perry suffered a back injury in a game against Prairie last Thursday, and Battle Ground coach Manny Melo said Tuesday he does not expect his star post to play again this season.
