Queues have just got longer at the Ayurvedic shops near the Government Ayurvedic Hospital on Bandar road here, thanks to ‘Anandaiah effect’, as they prefer to call it.
Buyers are said to be keen on ‘Kabasura Kudineer’, a traditional formulation used by Siddha practitioners. The preparation has the ingredients used by Mr. Anandaiah of Krishnapatnam in Nellore district in his herbal preparation for COVID-19 that has become the talk of the State.

At ten past 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Chintal resident Venkatesh reached State-run Nature Cure Hospital in Begumpet to get a COVID test done. He had to wait behind more than 100 people, only to get turned away at 8 a.m. This was the second time Mr. Venkatesh was turned away, as people made a queue before 4 a.m. to get the tokens, which start at 7.30 a.m.

Jammu: To mark World Health Day, 2 J&K Girls BN, NCC Cadets of Government College for Women, Parade Ground, Jammu organised one day medical awareness camp on the campus.
Dr. Jitender Gupta (MO) delivered an awareness lecture about “how and why to protect ourselves?” A team of paramedics of Government Ayurvedic Hospital was also invited in the college.
After this, the NCC Cadets under the supervision of paramedical staff distributed free immunity medicines among staff and other students of the college.
NCC Cadets also visited orphanage with healthy immunity body building fruit and food for them.
In another activity performed by the NCC Cadets, “BHARTIYA YOG SANSTHAN” was invited to the college to make all students and staff members aware about the benefits of yoga in living a happy life.
