Residents at four aged care homes in Melbourne were confined to their rooms on Monday after the federal government allowed staff to once again work across multiple sites.
However there was some good COVID-19 news as Benalla reported no new cases.
The good news stories continued throughout this edition with news on how Anzac Day was to be marked; an award for Rotarian Wayne Lewis; news that the some Good Friday appeals would be able to go ahead; and Royal Freemason resident Rod Merriman celebrated his 100th birthday with cake and a video-chat with relatives. In sport it was announced that the Goulburn Valley Football League would defer clubs’ fees.
