RDA, WASA budgets approved July 4, 2021 Rawalpindi : The 55th Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Governing Body meeting held Saturday in the conference room of RDA which was chaired by Chairman RDA/WASA Tariq Mahmood Murtaza. The Director General RDA presented the annual budget of RDA and the Governing Body has approved Rs2379.005 million for the financial year 2021-2022. Chairman RDA said that the revenue target of RDA was Rs559 million as against the target of Rs 295 million for fiscal year 2020-21, which is 264 million more than the revenue target. All this was made possible under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision for the construction sector.

Governing body approves budgets of RDA, WASA July 4, 2021 Rawalpindi: The 55th Governing Body of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Saturday approved the annual budget 2021-22 of RDA amounting to Rs2,329.005 million. A meeting of the Governing Body held here today was chaired by RDA Chairman Tariq Mahmood Murtaza. The RDA Director General presented the annual budget of RDA in the meeting. DG Rawalpindi Development Authority informed the meeting that the authority succeeded to generate revenue amounting to Rs559 million, Rs264 million more than the target of Rs295 million fixed for fiscal year 2020-21.The meeting was informed that the RDA succeeded to generate record revenue as all out efforts were made on the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar and the authorities concerned of RDA worked hard as per the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision and implemented a policy to promote the construction activities in the district.

The neighbourhood level schemes have been devised in consultation with the PTI members of the national and provincial assemblies to woo voters of their respective constituencies in Rawalpindi. The Punjab government has approved funds worth over Rs1.37 billion to be released through ruling party’s lawmakers for neighbourhood development schemes in the garrison city, sources said. These funds are part of Rs5.55 billion package for microlevel development schemes across the province to further strengthen position of the ruling party
