Upsets not ruled out in AJK elections: Hotly contested electoral contests featuring prime ministerial hopefuls

July 25, 2021 ISLAMABAD: Upsets are not being ruled out in Sunday’s 11th general elections to the Azad Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly (AJKLA), with close fights expected in at least a dozen constituencies where prime ministerial candidates are trying their luck. Only a few thousand votes would suffice to bag a seat. Traditionally, the provincial governments have a lot of influence in such elections.
