DKT-Liberia Launches Lydia Contraceptive Pills

DKT-Liberia with support from the Sweden Embassy and the Ministry of Health/Family Health Division (MOH\FHD) has launched a contraceptive Postpill in celebration of the international day of women.
DKT International, a registered non-profit organization founded in 1989, is one of the world’s largest providers of contraceptives and safe abortion products. DKT International also seeks to mitigate the impending effects of COVID-19 on global access to contraceptives by adopting necessary preemptive measures. ....

In Todee District: Dignity Liberia Breaks Ground for First Maternity Waiting Home

Dignity Liberia, a non-governmental organization (NGO), that seeks to bring restoration and hope to women with fistula prevention, broke ground for the construction of a modern Maternity Waiting Home (MWH) in Kleemu Town, Todee District, Montserrado County.
Upon full completion of the project, Dignity Liberia said, it will be called the House of Hope and Dignity and will allow pregnant women to access quality maternal and newborn care by bringing them closer to health facilities thus avoiding complications during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. ....
