Police: Suspect pointed gun at Walmart employee © Provided by Hearst Television, Inc. police lights Omaha police confirmed they re still looking for a man accused of pointing a gun at a local Walmart employee. Investigators said an off-duty Nebraska State trooper working security at the store on 50th Street and Ames Avenue tried to stop the suspect. Per OPD, the suspect ran away from Walmart on foot and left the gun at the scene.Sign up for our Newsletters The off-duty trooper called for backup and officers arrived at the store at approximately 10 p.m. Friday. Investigators also said the trooper had two other men in custody. OPD said these two men were with the unknown suspect at the time of the incident, but they were both identified and later released.
