While rates of adolescent obesity and stroke among adults under the age of 50 years continue to rise around the world, the precise link between the two conditions is still not fully understood. RANCHI: A senior citizen died of Covid-19 alone at his rented home on Tuesday morning. The body of Kishore Sen, 70, is yet to be retrieved by the district health officials till the time of filing this report. Sen, was unmarried and in home isolation at his rented house in Arogra Basti of Pundaag area in Harmu. His landlord Amit Ram had informed the local administration, including the circle officer, for disposal of the body according to the protocols at about 10am. But till evening, no health official has turned up to retrieve the body.
Talking to TOI, Ram said, “I had received assurances from an official for early disposal of the body but no one came till 7.30 pm. Now, another official has informed me that a team will reach my place soon.” tnn
