Lesbian Visibility Day 2021: Five LGBTQI women film and TV facts to celebrate!

th, marks Lesbian Visibility Day 2021, so celebrate with these interesting facts about LGBTQI+ women in film and TV.
What is Lesbian Visibility Day 2021?
Lesbian Visibility Day was created by DIVA Media Group, Europe’s biggest LGBTQI media group. In 2008. The day was created as a way to show solidarity with and celebrate all LGBTQI women and non-binary people.
In the years since its founding, it’s spanned into a celebratory Lesbian Visibility Week with events and social media activity to mark the week.

BUFORD It’s not often when the Buford girls get beaten by their own game.
But Lovejoy did just that as the Lady Wildcats used their quickness on defense to take a 49-42 win over the Lady Wolves on Tuesday at The Buford Arena in the Class 6A quarterfinals.
Buford (26-1) was held to just 6-of-27 from 3-point range and 11 turnovers through the first three quarters stifled any real offensive flow. The Lady Wolves came in averaging 63.7 points per game but were held to their lowest output of the season. It also snapped a 35-game win streak by Buford going back to last season.
BUFORD The Buford girls had four players score in double figures to blow past Sprayberry, 90-63, in the second round of the Class 6A tournament on Friday at the Buford Arena.
Tatum Ozment and Ava Grace Watson scored 17 points each to lead the Lady Wolves (26-0). Ashyia Willis and Abbi Perkins added 16 apiece, while Sara Viti netted 10 points.
The defending Class 5A champs forced the 30-point mercy rule on Sprayberry in the fourth quarter to advance to their 15th-straight quarterfinals appearance next week.
They ll play host to Lovejoy on Tuesday. Game time to be announced.
