Melodi Grand Prix 2021 continues tonight in Norway with its Wild Card Show scheduled to take place in Oslo this evening with fifteen acts battling in the Norwegian national final.
We are heading back to the majestic capital of Norway tonight as the 2021 Norwegian national selection sees its sixth show take place.
Last Saturday saw the fifth semi-final of Melodi Grand Prix 2021 where Imerika was declared the winner of the show, she will proceed to the Grand Final with her entry ‘
I can’t scape‘.

Melodi Grand Prix 2021 consists of seven shows (five semi-finals, a wild card show and a Grand Final) with a total of 26 acts battling for the golden ticket to Rotterdam.
Norway’s
Melodi Grand Prix 2021 is almost at an end. But there’s one more show to go before Saturday’s grand final the
Sistesjansen or ‘Last Chance’ round. Local fans can catch the country’s Eurovision selection by switching their televisions to
NRK 1, while international viewers will need to head online.

Melodi Grand Prix 2021 will consist of seven shows (five semi-finals, a wild card show and a Grand Final) with a total of 26 acts battling for the golden ticket to Rotterdam.
A total of four acts will compete in each of the five semi-finals and only one act from each show will proceed to the Grand Final. Hence five acts will join the 6 pre-qualified acts and the wild card winner at the 2021 Melodi Grand Final scheduled to be held on
Four more acts will compete in the third semi-final of Norway’s
Melodi Grand Prix 2021 on Saturday 30 January. That also means it’s time for another pre-qualified finalist to showcase their entry. Next up is MGP newcomer
Kaja Rode, whose track
“Feel Again” dropped just after midnight local time on Friday 29 January.
Kaja Rode will debut “Feel Again” live during the third semi-final of MGP 2021. The singer from Oslo will showcase her track as a prequalified finalist, without needing to compete alongside the other acts.

The show consists of 2 stages. In round 1, the top 7 songs that received the most votes from the audience will go on to qualify to the next stage. Then, one of the songs that didn t make it through the first round will be selected to join them. This song will be chosen by a star-studded jury including Jean-Paul Gaultier, Amir, and Eurovision winners Marie Myriam and Duncan Laurence.
The 8 remaining songs will then compete in the second round of voting, where votes from the audience and the juries will both count for 50%.
The show will be broadcast live from Paris.
