WEEPING WATER – Four young women will have a chance to represent their hometowns on stage at one of the top events of the Cass County Fair. Annika Covington, Rylee Hogue, Jami Twomey and Kelsi Vogler will participate in this year’s Cass County Fair Queen Contest. The coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2020 event, which meant students from both 2020 and 2021 graduating years could participate in this summer’s contest. Covington is Miss Louisville 2021, Hogue is Miss Elmwood 2021, Twomey is Miss Weeping Water 2021 and Vogler is Miss Weeping Water 2020. They will appear on stage in the Open Air Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11.
