They are showing up in fish stomachs and in beaches across the country, but how are oesophagus clips escaping the meatworks?
It starts with a very puzzled fisherman in The Catlins. Wondered why the big kahawai I caught recently was so skinny . until I checked the stomach contents and found it full of plastic, he posts on Facebook.

In yet another appalling incident, a second-year college student was brutally murdered by a man whose advances she had rejected in Andhra Pradesh s Guntur on Wednesday.
According to reports, the deceased Anusha was a student of Krishnaveni Private Degree College in Narasaraopet. The accused Vishnuvardhan Reddy, studying in the same college, was unhappy about Anusha’s friendship with another classmate and took her to a secluded place on the pretext of having a chat.

An elderly couple was looted after a woman allegedly drugged them under the pretext of administering the COVID-19 vaccine and decamped with their jewellery and other valuables at Meerpet here on Saturday evening.
Police said that the accused woman, Anusha, knew the victims Kuntala Laxman (80) and his wife Kasthuri (70), and took advantage of them. She was once a tenant in their house and shifted to a neighbouring colony. However, she was in touch with the couple, who lived alone.

idea about the nightmare that lay in store for her. Anusha has filed a complaint with the city police against Kumar, 25, who is her distant relative and was in a relationship with her earlier, alleging harassment which resulted in her calling it quits after sharing her ordeal with her mother.
When her mother called Kumar up and asked him to leave her daughter alone, he started threatening both the mother and the daughter with posting Anusha’s nude pictures on social media and malign her character.
