Courthouse Friends Were Family For Security Guard Who Lost Fight With Cancer Tuesday, March 2, 2021

Anthony “Tony” Gray, a Walden Security guard at the County Courthouse, recently passed away after battling cancer for over two years.
One of those was Brooke Weaver, administrator in the county clerk office. She said, Unfortunately, the cancer metastasized. He passed peacefully.
On his behalf, I want to say thank you to all who provided him a helping hand. Many gave their time daily to chat with him, gave him meals, collected money and shared their resources to make his life easier.
I found several writings of scripture on his kitchen table. I pray Tony is resting easy on the wings of eternity with his mother and father.
