While it arguably takes a brave person to make solid New Year resolutions when the global and local situation can turn on a dime and scupper your plans for Dry January to run a marathon every week, it s still important to remember that things won t always be like they are right now, and it s vital to think about our physical and mental health in these stressful times.

Anthony Dickens was driving down the M40 when he had an epiphany. It was around 2005, and the designer and amateur musician had been thinking of ways to improve on the guitar to try create something “different and powerful”.
He landed on the idea of placing a wheel underneath the strings, which could spin and automatically strike them in a preset rhythm, creating something that was part stringed instrument, part sequencer. Back at home, he gutted an old acoustic and made a prototype, but then life got in the way and it sat in his bedroom until recently, when he decided to revive the project.

Amazon UK has started replacing PlayStation 5 consoles that never made it to pre-order customers as intended.
Last month a significant number of its customers reported that their PS5s did not arrive as scheduled on the console’s November 19 launch date, despite being marked as delivered by couriers.
Many consumers reported receiving erroneous items in place of their PS5 consoles, such as kitchen appliances and cat food, or even empty boxes.
The issue became widespread enough to draw the attention of mainstream media including the BBC, which featured it during the consumer rights segment of The One Show, which is watched by up to five million viewers each week.
