The Trelawny police have now charged five persons in connection with the murder of a well-known dancehall figure, Glenford Henry, popularly called ‘DJ Neco Ranking’, who was shot and killed in the parish on Monday.
Reports are that Henry was killed during a dispute between his son and a group of men on Kitchen Crescent in the Friendship community.
The accused are Christopher Morrison, a 27-year-old farmer of Wakefield, Trelawny; 35-year-old-tiler, Ferion Smart, of Eltham View, Spanish Town, St Catherine and Friendship, Trelawny; 35-year-old Anthony Gibbs, also called ‘Webster’ and ‘Short Boss’ of Bounty Hall, Trelawny; 60- year-old labourer, Victor Morrison, of Wakefield, Trelawny; and 31-year-old unemployed, Alika Morrison, also called ‘Nicky’, of Wakefield, Trelawny.
