There’s no better time to celebrate the fun and challenges of every stage of motherhood than Mother’s Day weekend.
With that in mind, Greater Boston Stage Company of Stoneham will present a five-day only virtual streaming run of “The Best of ‘The MOMologues,’” May 7-11, featuring selections from the three-part series of comedies about motherhood co-written by Scituate s Lisa Rafferty, Stefanie Cloutier, and Sheila Eppolito.
“We’ve condensed the three separate 90-minute versions – “The MOMologues: An Original Comedy about Motherhood,” “MOMologues 2: Off to School,” and “MOMologues 3: The Final Push” – into a 30-minute show that audiences can enjoy in their living rooms, all for a good cause,” Rafferty said.

The Young Company Winter Festival 2021, performed by actors in grades first through 12th, may look a little different this year, but it will still be available to stream Feb. 5-7.
Winter Festival 2021 is the culmination of six weeks of rehearsals by the students and their professional directors and stage management teams of the Greater Boston Stage Company.
This year’s Festival showcases two virtual productions: family-friendly “The Phantom Tollbooth” and the adapted for Zoom production “She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms.”
Based on the classic children’s novel by Norton Juster, “The Phantom Tollbooth” follows Milo, a bored 10-year-old, who finds a magical tollbooth in his room. Joining forces with a watchdog named Tock, Milo drives through the tollbooth’s gates and sets forth on an unforgettable mission to save Rhyme and Reason in the Kingdom of Wisdom.
