Greater Bemidji launches new job portal to grow workforce
Just months after Greater Bemidji Economic Development launched the 218 Relocate program, it has created a job portal to connect more employment opportunities with new residents.

BEMIDJI Greater Bemidji Economic Development is expanding its workforce recruitment initiative with a new job search program.
The organization has launched a new online job search portal titled BemidjiWorks. The portal was created to help connect newcomers and their partners with employment opportunities in the area.
Those interested in the portal can use a job search function to look for jobs through a customizable search in a 25-mile radius area around the city of Bemidji. The portal also has a section titled Connect with a Company, where users will be able to view a company s business values and connect directly with its human resource professionals.
Local volunteers honored by Beltrami County for work during the pandemic

BEMIDJI The Beltrami County Board of Commissioners honored volunteers who continued to work hard for the community over the past year during the coronavirus pandemic, during a board meeting on Tuesday, May 4.
A proclamation, read by Board Chair Reed Olson, noted how Beltrami County relied heavily on citizen volunteers to provide assistance and leadership in response to the public health crisis. According to the proclamation, thousands of hours of time was put in by volunteers in 2020 and the first months of 2021.
