With COVID uncertainty in 2021, Twin Cities Auto Show moves outdoors It ll be held at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Author: The Twin Cities Auto Show will be moving from its usual home at the Minneapolis Convention Center to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, as uncertainty continues over events in 2021. The annual event will move outdoors for the 2021 show, and will also take place between May 15-23, more than two months later than usual. This means the weather will be better, and more time is given to efforts to roll out COVID-19 vaccines. “Moving the show back two and a half months and going to an outdoor venue gives us a few advantages,” stated Scott Lambert, president of the Greater Metropolitan Auto Dealers Association (GMADA), which owns and operates the show.
