Pat Chiefalo has joined Atlanta-based Invesco Ltd. as head of ETFs and indexed strategies for Canada.
The industry veteran left his role last month as managing director and head of iShares Canada with Toronto-based BlackRock Asset Management Inc. Prior to that, Chiefalo led the ETF research efforts at National Bank Financial.
In his new role, Chiefalo will be based in Invesco’s Toronto office and report to Anna Paglia, Invesco’s global head of ETFs and indexed strategies.
“ETFs remain in the early stages of growth in Canada and with Invesco’s focus on innovation and commitment to clients we’ll be able to deliver portfolio solutions investors need to achieve their financial goals,” Chiefalo said in a release.
