Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson explains decision to quit Bea Nilsson role
Bea s exit airs in Australia next week.
Neighbours spoilers follow for UK and Australian viewers.
Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson has discussed her decision to leave the soap, as her character Bea Nilsson exits on Australian screens next week.
10 Peach viewers will see Bea saying goodbye to Ramsay Street after splitting from her boyfriend Levi Canning and deciding to go on a planned road trip alone – wanting to reconnect with her father in Broome.
Bonnie has played Bea for three years, and said in an interview with
TV Week magazine that she felt like now was the right time to leave.
She s a protective soon-to-be first-time mum and there is probably a level of frustration that Aaron and David don t take on board her feelings. It s not about Emmett and Brent as such, they have both been through a lot being in the foster system, but the well-being of a new baby has to come first, Chimes explained exclusively to
Digital Spy, before adding that Nicolette s seemingly hard stance has already sparked debate among Australian viewers. Some people have very opposing views. I love that people get so angry and want to discuss Nicolette s choices, she added. Television is about creating emotional reactions, you would worry if no one was talking about it!
