Fort McCoy gets new deputy commander with deep resume

FORT McCOY, Wis. (WKBT) Lt. Col. Chad Maynard has taken his position as the new garrison deputy commander at Fort McCoy.
Maynard, who has been serving as a military science professor at the University of Akron in Ohio, enlisted in the Army in 2002 and completed basic training and OCS at Fort Benning, Ga., before receiving his commission as a second lieutenant in the Quartermaster Corps.
